Hi Everyone, it's been a little while since I've posted some of our awesome cakes so here are a couple:

We were asked to do a Honey Badger cake for a lady whose husband's office has a running joke about the YouTube honey badger clip. You can't see it but on the back side it says, "Honey Badger don't give a sh*t you're 40"

With a name like Crazy Cakes, it's not surprising that we get asked for some unusual cakes. We got asked recently to do a groom's cake for a couple who are big fans of the movie, "Shaun of the Dead". On the hood of the car it reads, "Til the undead do we part".

I spent a lot of time making zombies!

And now for the upcoming events. First and foremost, because it's my club's show, if you're anywhere near Texas or have the means to get here, the best cake show in the US is coming up in just a couple of weeks. Capital Confectioner's is proud to present our 8th annual That Takes the Cake, Sugar Art Show and Cake Competition. Some of the very best names in the cake world will be at our show teaching, judging, and hanging around for you to meet and stutter over. Mike McCarey, Lauren Kitchens, Kaysie Lackey, the Winbecklers, Kathleen Lange...just to name a few. If you don't know who these people are, look them up, their work is phenomenal! Our theme this year is Renaissance, and we mean that in the very broadest of terms. Learn more and check out all the wonderful classes we'll be having before, during and after:

Secondly, for those of you up in the big beautiful Pacific Northwest, my good friend, Lauren Kitchens is coming your way in March. She'll be teaching her Waffle class:
