Hi everyone! I'm new and have been looking over the posts, and I'm in awe! I'm Heather, and I started decorating about a year ago. I've never taken any classes or anything, but I recently started working in a bakery where they let me decorate and such when they have the time to train me a bit.
I'm still learning a lot. The women I work with are great cake decorators and share things with me all the time, so that's wonderful. Also, constructive criticism is always welcome. =] Mostly I'll just be a lurker, but I wanted to say hello!
Very first cake I decorated the day I got my decorating kit. Certainly not good, but hey, it works. Decorated cookies I made to give out at Christmas. These little suckers made my hand hurt after I did all 7 dozen. Portal cupcakes I made for a friends birthday. Five inch decorated cookies I made at work a week or so ago. I was really proud when all six sold within 2 days.
