Found on one of my cake message boards:We had a "going away" party yesterday for a lady at our Little Rock claim office. One of the supervisors called a Wal-Mart and ordered the cake. He told them to write:"Best Wishes Suzanne" and underneath that, "We will miss you". As the picture shows, it didn't quite turn out right. It was too funny not to keep it.
I... think that may be the funniest thing I have ever seen...
LMAO minimum wage workers
9.15 an hour isn't min wage, dearie. It isn't a good wage for cake decorators either but i'm just saying.. don't make stupid assumptions like that..
LOL YOU GOT TOLD.
...at least the roses are pretty?...yeah I got nothin...
OMG. *snorts* Thats freaking hilarious! x
At first, I thought, "This has to be some type of a joke someone posted online or the beginnings of an urban legend."But, then again, truth can be stranger than fiction. Thanks for the good laugh I had this morning.
I love that they even misspelled "underneath".Brilliant.
haha seriously!I looked at the photo before reading the text and I was like "what the hell does under neat mean?"
It IS a lovely cake.... LMAO
Thank you for the laugh! That is hysterical!
Ok with the poster's permission, on of you that is good at making icons has got to make us one of that cake!
OMG!!! OMG!!! *screeeeeaaaaaammmmm*
Wow. That's the best thing I've seen in a long time.
Oh I love it! I suspect someone at Walmart is a comic genius :D
That is crazy! I can't stop laughing about it!!
that's outstanding.absolutely outstanding.
lol....much worse than my misspelled cake. After spelling our last name 5 times.....yes, 5 times...they still got it wrong. The roses do look pretty still:p
hahahahahahahahahaha....I LOVE IT! "Under Neat" o.0I need to bring this to work to show my Chef! "Anytime you think *I* suck, just look at that!"
they can get jobs at wallyworld, but i can't get a job anywhere.JEEBUS H!still way too funny
OMGosh!! I'm cracking up over here! Too funny!
I LOVE walmart for the cheap pricse, but i hate the fact they exploit their workers and such. maybe this is one way for the workers to get back at the place? haha. nonetheless, pretty funny stuff. =))
If anyone needs me, I'll be over here, under my desk, convulsed with laughter. That's just genius!
LOLOLOL!!!Nice roses, though.Reminds me of one time when somebody in my department took an order and wrote something similar in the instructions. The cake decorator we had at the time read very little English, so she just copied the instructions as part of the inscription. EEEK!Luckily she didn't get into trouble. The customer wasn't thrilled, though.
Ha... thats pretty bad... dont knock walmart though.. i worked as a cake decorator at Sams club.. but yeah i would get weird ass orders like this all the time and i would always call the customer to make comfirm what they wanted written on the cake because yeah, people make mistakes. hahah i think its great that you kept it instead of throwing a fit at the decorator.. usually thats how it went ;0/
That is freaking awesome. WOo hoo.
I'm emailing that picture to some friends.
ROFLMAO!! tooooo funny! thanks for sharing!
LMAO!I kind of want to make a cake with that on it now...just to see the expressions on people's faces!
Good thing I was not drinking anything when I saw this....it's so brilliantly bad! *LOL!*
hahaha awesome. :)
hey, at least its a pretty cake, lmao.
it when people hate on walmart. or call it 'evil' or whatever...there are plenty of people whos lively-hood depends on them working at a low paying job. and most of the times these people are just building their lives in this country (immigrants; especially in my area) and to hate on them (minimum wagers, whatever you want to call them) is to not understand their situation. i've known many people who had to settle for lower paying jobs (at walmart, gas stations, etc.) in order to build some sort of foundation, and i applaud them for sticking it out. its way better than being a thief.with that said, that cake is hilarious and i bet no one is ever going to forget suzanne
Walmart is evil for reasons other than being a "low paying" job. Especially the way they exploit their female workers who make less money than men most of the time doing the same job and are encouraged to wear makeup and "look sexy" when they come to work. You should watch the documentary that was made on the company. It really opened my eyes to the price I was paying to society in order to buy cheap products.
that's like saying "you don't like the war? that means that you hate the troops." It's not the same thing, the company is evil because not only are the workers in the stores exploited but also the people who work in the factories and the environment. How do you think you can get low prices? by paying your employees less... and it's not like the company is hurting for money so they can't treat them better. It's about more than minimum wage... it's also about lack of health care, the fact that you can't even say the word union without getting fired, that they make their employees work unpaid overtime... the list just goes on, I suggest you check out the movie faithful_kiss is talking about.
can somebody e-mail this to my boss so that she can see that im not the only one in the world that makes stupid mistakes hahaha XP
...just, wow.Once when I went to pick up a cake for my dad at Sam's (which I would use a lot because they were tasty for the price), the woman who was in the bakery couldn't write on it because she said it wasn't her skill set and didn't want to ruin my cake with her bad handwriting. I asked her if she could just give me some icing and I would do it myself at home, and she just invited me back to do it at the store.I did it, but I thought "This must be breaking like, fifty million health codes."She did compliment my handwriting, and I was sure it was spelled correctly!
looks like i came to this party too late. the pic seems to not exist anymore...?
