I made my dad a birthday cake this weekend...
Triple fudge cake mix
Caramel filling (intended, but caramel didn't turn out quite right, so it was more of a cream filling)
Fudge ganache frosting
Pirouette cookies "sticks"
Melted butterscotch and cinnamon hard candies "flames"

OMG I can not explain how impressed I am. I was a Campfire Girl when I was little and I just LOVE this.
